Biographical Note

Amy Troubridge, the oldest child of Louisa Gurney and Thomas St. Vincent Troubridge, was born in London in 1856. She was a talented pianist and composer who wrote much of the music for her sisters' amateur theatrical productions. Amy was never married and died in 1932.
