This subseries consists largely of acquisition invoices and related correspondence between booksellers and Clark librarians from 1934 to the present. Also included are records and correspondence from foreign book buying trips by Clark librarians. At some times in the past, acquisition invoices and correspondence were kept together in the same physical files, while in more recent decades, these files have been kept almost completely separate.
