Two drawings in pencil and ink for “Jack N.’s Cross,” both dated August 9 ,1917. [Drawn for a Portland headstone, St. Andrew, Burgess Hill, Sussex. The inscription surmounted by a crucifix in memory of John Edwin Nye, 1885-1916, killed in World War I. See Evan Gill Inscriptional work # 334.
