The subseries consists of Gill's manuscript diaries, which he began in 1895 and continued to add entries into until just before his death in 1940. The detailed volumes contain information useful for attributing Eric Gill's work and dating it. Also included are manuscripts and galley proofs of Gill's Palestine diaries. The subseries is arranged chronologically.
