Ward Ritchie's collection of type specimen books is being catagloged as a collection in Archivists' Toolkit. This finding aid uses the Pièces de thêatre: Collection of 18th century plays 1780-1805 finding aid as a model.

Each book is cataloged individually as an item in the collection. The creator and the title of the book serve as the title of the item, with a date added if needed to disambiguate items. For each item, create a general note titled "Title Page Details" and then enter the following information, where applicable: title, author, edition, physical description, and notes. The description should be succinct.

The finding aid also needs the following notes at the collection level: Scope and Contents, Abstract, Preferred Citation note, Condidtions Governing Use, and Conditions Governing Access. Names and subjects may also be added at the collection level.

If some items are already cataloged (as books) by the Clark, please make a note of this.
