Scope and Content of Collection

This collection contains ephemera printed by members of the Amalgamated Printers' Association (APA) as well as material printed at the Wayzgoose, the APA's annual convention. The APA collects samples of members' work on a quarterly basis and distributes "bundles" of this material to each member on a monthly basis. The bulk of the material here are these bundles.

Biography/Administrative History

The Amalgamated Printers' Association was founded as a hobby printers' group in 1958 and has always focused on the exchange of letterpress samples and work. It now includes both amateur and professional printers as members and membership is capped at 150 members.
