Scope and Contents
This collection consists of a small collection of clippings, articles, ephemera, and other material related to Oscar Wilde and to Lord Alfred Douglas, from the collection of researcher Samuel Wright. Materials date from 1904-1923 and include articles from popular magazines, newspapers, and other publications.
These items are also described as a part of the Clark Library's Wildeiana finding aid (available via the OAC).

Biographical Note
Samuel Wright (born 1905) was a Walter Pater researcher. His published works include A Bibliography of the Writings of Walter H. Pater (1975), and An Informative Index to the Writings of Walter H. Pater. Wright lived in Colchester, Essex, England.
