Abstract
Clippings, ephemera, bookseller descriptions, and other material about or related to Oscar Wilde, originally collected by Dr. T. Perceval Gerson.
Physical Location
This collection is stored at the Clark Library.
Acquisition Information
This collection was transferred to the Clark Library from the main UCLA Library around 1961 (MS.1961.014). During the UCLA Library's processing and cataloging of the Gerson collection, it appears that the clippings and other material related to Oscar Wilde were deemed more appropriate for the Clark Library's collections and were separated from the rest of the Gerson collection. More details about this collection history can be found in the "Biographical Narrative" section of the UCLA LSC finding aid to the Gerson collection.
Processing Note
The material in this collection was processed and described in 2022 by Rebecca Fenning Marschall, and is also included in the Clark Library Wildeiana finding aid (available via the OAC).
