Scope and Content
This collection contains papers, correspondence, and bound pamphlets relating to the work of George Ratcliffe Woodward. Included in the collection are lecture notes for sermons held in various locations; miscellaneous lecture notes; translations from the Bible, Ovid, and unknown sources; original compositions; letters to and from Woodward; Christmas greetings printed by Woodward; and a few other miscellaneous items. Also included are three letters between Lawrence Clark Powell and Ruth Collis of B.F. Stevens & Brown, Ltd. regarding the donation of the collection to the Clark Library. Dated items range from 1917 to 1932, but many items are undated.
