Scope and Contents note
This subseries includes manuscripts of speeches, plays, poems, and other literary works created by Oscar Wilde and his coterie. Many are in the author's hand. Virtually all of the titles given to the works have been supplied by later catalogers and scholars. They are arranged alphabetically by author or originator, and then by title. Further arrangement is by date.

General Physical Description note
MS. 8 leaves. Bound in dark green morocco. This original autograph fragment was, at an earlier date, erroneously identified as The English Renaissance of Art and was bound with that title on the binding. This fragment actually belongs toArt and the Handicraftsman. It runs from p. 305, to p. 307, line 18, of the printed version inMiscellanies, vol. XIV of the Collected edition, 1908.
