Scope and Contents
This series contains material collected by Christopher Millard in relation to the forged Oscar Wilde play For the love of the king, and the libel trial Methuen and Co. v. Millard (1926). Millard's extensive dossier on the trial and on Mrs. Chan-Toon, the forger of the play, contains correspondence, legal documents, and news clippings as well as other materials.
