Letter from George Egerton to John Lane, January 15, 1896

File — Box: msWilde Box 7, Folder: 83
Identifier: Series 1.

Scope and Contents

John Lane had invited Egerton on a trip but she was unable to go because Egie was ill. Egerton demands a clear and concise accounting of her monetary situation -- apparently Lane had provided a general accounting she found useless. She is sorry that her stories are too strange (?) for a quarterly publication (name of publication indecipherable). She also asks Lane to return “Pan” because she wishes to make more revisions. She then asks about any comments/critiques of Hunger. She tells Lane that Keynotes is going into publication in Dutch.
