Calligraphic example by Ethel Moore [maiden name of Mrs. Gill, who took the name ‘Mary’ as her name upon entering the Catholic church], written when she was a pupil of Edward Johnston. First line of poem reads, “Let those who are in favor with their stars…” Four lines of text.
