Tripartite indenture (part 1), 24 December 1627
Scope and Contents note
Tripartite indenture on vellum with three attached seals. Made between (1) Henry Buckerfeilde, Elizabeth, his wife, and Edward, his son; (2) William Buckerfeilde, son and heir apparent of Henry, and Parnell Piggott; (3) Edward Piggott and William Plant. "...for and in consideration of a marriage intended" between William Buckerfeilde and Parnell Piggot, this document records provisions made for Parnell Piggott, should she outlive her future husband.
Collection includes two parts of this indenture. Part 1 signed by second and third parties: William Buckerfeilde (seal missing), Parnell Piggott, Edward Piggott and William Plant.
